The Reed Family of Three!: Where do I begin....'

Savanah is 5 months old! She is growing into her own unique personality and accomplishing many important milestones along the way! In the past 2 months she has been rolling over, laughing, using her voice to communicate (not just baby grunts), grabbing and holding on to her toys, sitting up by herself ,standing with support, sleeping 12+ hours each night, learning to put herself to sleep (around 8:00pm!!! Mom loves that) and recognizing different people. Which brings me to the topic of what our stubborn little one does not like to do! She has only been babysat by her Grandma's and has put 2 and 2 together and associating that Grandma's mean Mom is leaving. She been giving her sitters are hard time! Savy still does not car rides! Hates them! I know, I know most babies like car rides and fall asleep and yada yada yada. Nope- not my baby. We have tried toys, and lights and music distractions and sitting back there with her, holding her hand,everything, but nothing does the trick! She also does not or shall I say won't take a bottle. She's been exclusively breastfed, and denies a bottle of breastmilk from me and everyone else! She's so stubborn that she has chosen to go 7-8 hours during the day without eating, while I was away, on 2 different occasions! She is definately opinated and knows exactly what she wants! But thats ok, we love that about her and fall more in love with her each day! Here's some pics from the last few months!

The hopsital recommended no bumper pads, so we havent used them, but lately she's been sticking her arms and legs in-between the bars and hitting her head, so we are thinking we may put the bumpers back in.
